Summer is on it's way!

It's official--G is now a 3rd grader!

It was certainly a little crazy around here last week---both kids had end of school festivities all week long and then we had the Memorial holiday to top it off.  I definitely needed that 3 day break!  Actually, it wasn't much of a break but that's for another post.

So now that they've been out for a couple of days I can see "the need" for some scheduling of additional activities.  Too much down-time and they are picking at each other.  I actually thought because there was a five year age difference that they wouldn't fight with each other---you all can go ahead and laugh out loud here.

Got a lot going on this week with trying to setup G's schooling for next year--that's another long post--but we're going to finish up some extracurricular activities this week and then my concentration is going to be on getting them setup for some summer programs :-)
